It did at least not get even colder this morning, it stayed at the same low temperature as it was yesterday. I really can’t understand how they can get it so wrong. At least I know they will get it wrong π π

It’s a bit fun at work because they actually believes that I will remember (or even care) about what I’ll be doing on Monday morning π π π Today two people came and told me what to do the first thing on Monday morning, not the same things by the way π π and they genuinely believes that I care and will remember it until then π π π Each time they do this I just say that I will never be able to remember anything from work for so long and they always look as if I’m a bit strange π π π

The sun has been shining almost all day but I also drove through a small snow storm on my way home. We were warned about it and since it was above 0C (32F) it never reached the ground, still I can’t pretend I was happy about it. I also got a parking ticket when I was grocery shopping. We don’t have to pay for parking in any of the countys around but if we park in the wrong way we still can get a ticket. I parked half of my car on a sidewalk just because it gives more space for the lorries that comes with groceries to the store. No one ever walks there because it doesn’t lead to any houses or anything really but I do know that it is wrong so I really can’t complain. I even wished the woman who gave me a ticket a good weekend π I’ve already paid it, 400 Swedish kronor and it would be something around $40 US.Β
We walked out on the bog when I came home and everything was ok until we came out to the little island we always walk around. For some reason none of the dogs wanted to walk there, even Nova, who never pull the leash suddenly did. I couldn’t smell anything special since they now pour out manure everywhere but I guess the dogs could. I can’t say what they didn’t like but there were fresh holes that had been dug by wild hogs so my guess is that they were the reason. None of my dogs like wild hogs or moose, the rest of the wild life are ok though π Could be a wolf as well since young ones now roam around everywhere in this region but to be honest I think they just would think a wolf just is another dog.

It is time for another cup of tea and later on tonight or most likely tomorrow I’ll be making ice cream. I think I’ll have plain vanilla but I also have a french jam which I like a lot so I might mix in some of that π
Have a great day!
Suddenly I noticed that I’ve used almost all free space in this blog so I’ll give You the new address here tomorrow!
Hi Christer,
If your dogs are like my dogs, they will know that wolves (or coyotes in my case) are not simply other dogs. They are things to be killed, if possible, or violently chased off. Must be a competition for resources thing.
It rained very heavily overnight. Now it’s just murky and warm. The two little daffodils that have managed to stay alive are blooming. The chionodoxa is blooming in the lawn. They’re like little stars.
I commented on yesterday’s blog but it disappeared somewhere.
Have a great evening.

Hi Caryn!
I hope they are like Your dogs, I do like wolves but they should be kept at a distance π Sunny and nasty cold morning again here but it is still better than what we’ll get next week even though nights will be less cold due to clouds.
It is odd that those small flowers survive in this weather π
New place today, You can click on the name and You’ll get there π
Have a great day!
Christer.

Christer,
When Henry goes outside at night, he sometimes senses or hears something and runs to the back of the yard. Nala follows him. He hasn’t even caught anything and the whole yard is fenced so I don’t worry too much., but I admit I check on both dogs.
We don’t have wolves, but we do have coyotes. They are bigger than western coyotes. Most of the ones I see look healthy. They are the last animals I’d want in my yard. Henry would go after one.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Kat!
Albin can react to sounds sometimes in the evening, it usually comes from a cow just outside π π I do however have to keep an eye on Alma since she does tend to leave the garden to look for cat poop π π
We are expecting to see the Golden jackal here soon, it’s slightly bigger than a fox and would only be dangerous to small dogs if dangerous to any dog at all. They have been spotted in both Finland and Norway so we might already have them here.
Have a great day!
Christer.

To bad about the parking ticket fine, Christer, and $40 did seem a bit steep to me! I ewasn’t surpriosed to read that your blog address would be changing again because you had run out of space, so I will bookmark it and follow you there.

Hi Beatrice!
Well I really can’t complain but I think it is the first time anyone actually been to that village to see if we’re parking in the right way. We all park like that so I just was the unlucky one π π π
Have a great day!
Christer.
